Tomás Ybarra
Born in Santiago de Compostela in Spain, Tomas Ybarra fell in love with the camera when his Uncle, an advertising photographer, introduced him to the craft as a child. Determined to get into the film industry, Tomas climbed his way through the on-set ranks before studying cinematography at Escuela De Artes Y Espectaculos TAI.
After graduating, Tomas worked prolifically in the Spanish film industry on TVCs, short films, feature films and television shows. In 2012, he relocated to Sydney and is now one of the in house cinematographers at Paper Moose.
Besides motion picture, Tomás loves cooking (and eating), and his best pointless skill is solving the rubik’s cube in 1 minute and 11 seconds.
